TIPS FOR SUCCESS

Increase traffic around your Auto Weigher by placing it where cattle already tend to move in the paddock, such as near a water source.

Take the time to size up the appropriate paddock or pen size. Use these guidelines: an Auto Weigher works best with 150 animals in a paddock, or 80 in a pasture (~2ha).

Different mobs enjoy different attractants. Experiment with each group and regularly replenish attractants to keep the animals coming to be weighed

Place the Auto Weigher on level ground to ensure the accuracy of the weights. Better stability will also encourage animals to step on

Take advantage of times you head out to move the machine to quickly retighten the wheel nuts, extending the life of your components by reducing vibration.

Adjust the side gates to fit the size and stage of your animals. This will ensure you never have two animals step on the platform
